Among others, KBD e.V. and AgUmenda GmbH will present results on the topic of post-harvest oilseed rape management. Further posters on soil cultivation trials and studies are being coordinated.

The requirements for storing hazardous materials are changing fundamentally. New material flows, growing return & recycling volumes, and stricter regulations for fire protection, permits, and risk management are increasingly calling existing storage concepts into question.

Whether chemicals, gases, flammable substances, lithium-ion batteries, contaminated operating materials, production waste, or hazardous substances from returns & the circular economy: The range is growing, and with it the difficulty of correctly classifying, safely storing, and economically handling substances. At the same time, the expectations of authorities, insurers, and customers are rising. This brings a central question into focus: Who will still be storing hazardous materials tomorrow, and under what conditions?

Experts from logistics, industry, insurance, science, and supervision will shed light on current risks, regulatory changes, and practical solutions. Four concise expert impulses and a moderated discussion will show where existing structures are reaching their limits and which technical, organizational, and digital approaches are proving effective.

Millions of letters and parcels are processed, sorted, and dispatched every day in Germany. But what processes are behind this logistical achievement? How do modern letter and parcel centers operate around the clock, and what technologies ensure that shipments reach their destination quickly and reliably?

The German Logistics Association (BVL), together with Deutsche Post DHL, invites you to visit the Ottendorf-Okrilla letter and parcel center. Participants will have the rare opportunity to experience a central hub of letter and parcel logistics in operation.

During a guided tour, you will follow the journey of shipments from delivery through automatic sorting to onward distribution. This will demonstrate the technical precision, stable processes, and organizational efforts required to handle enormous volumes daily.

Deutsche Post DHL provides insights into current developments: automation, digitalization, real-time shipment tracking, sustainable delivery, and increasing parcel volumes.

The event is aimed at specialists and managers from logistics, industry, trade, and services, as well as all interested parties.

Understand the logic of the buyers, play to your own strengths and actively lead negotiations to success.

Since the Lopez era, automakers have demanded regular price reductions from suppliers, and this model has now become standard practice in many other industries. Discounts of 3% per year are already commonplace for most series production suppliers, and even machine manufacturers are now sometimes required to make significantly larger concessions to secure contracts. Even after agreements have been reached, purchasing managers subsequently demand further price reductions, often threatening to otherwise transfer the contract to other suppliers.
