Rivo Meals: the digital canteen for modern workplaces.

Rivo Meals is the digital B2B canteen for modern companies, not a delivery app but a workplace benefit: one platform giving any employer a fresh daily lunch their team looks forward to, funded tax-free with zero admin.

We onboard the company and team, and employees order from their profile by 09:00. Our engine turns every order into one kitchen ticket and a single delivery per office, so meals arrive together at noon in reusable bowls. Staff pay €0 at base, up to €2.50 for premium.

The problem is bigger than food: in a hybrid world, companies struggle to fill offices, build culture, and keep talent. Canteens cost €200k+ a year, delivery apps leave no shared table, and a pay rise is taxed twice. The Sachbezug allowance (§8/§40 EStG), up to €7.50/day tax-free, goes unclaimed as it is too complex to run.

Rivo makes lunch a benefit that retains people and builds culture. The subsidy applies at source, billing is one monthly invoice, and a dashboard tracks participation, spend, and usage.

Presentation of the founding project

Who are you? Background, motivation, relevant experience? What role, if any, do the team members have?

I’m Omar Dibba, founder of Rivo Meals. I bring 6+ years in supply chain and logistics, hands-on catering experience from Backstage Munich, and the dev skills to build our digital B2B platform myself. Having used Bella & Bona at a previous job, I saw firsthand how a daily team lunch brings people together. I run Rivo solo today and am looking for co-founders to build it with.

Which industry(s) does the business idea most closely fit into?
What have you achieved so far (prototype, users, revenue)?

Our platform is 95% complete, with ordering, the employee web app, batch-order processing, Sachbezug-based billing, and the HR dashboard all built and in final testing. We have secured a kitchen offer (Egenberger Production, Leipzig) and are now finalising the hire of our chef, with menu development to follow. In parallel, we have begun finding pilot customers, aiming to start a free 3-day pilot in July 2026 with our first two companies.

What I offer: a validated model, a working platform, secured kitchen and supply, and a clear go-to-market in Leipzig and Halle. You’d join a business that’s already built, not an idea on paper. My work values: directness, speed, and ownership. I keep things simple, cut anything that doesn’t move the business, and do the work myself before asking anyone else to. I value honesty over politeness, follow-through over talk, and people who take real responsibility for their part.

Support sought

What skills are you lacking? What do you expect from the person? What role should they take on?

am looking for a co-founder to take the business side, while I lead operations and product myself. The key gap is local presence: as a non-local I find the language and direct communication with German companies difficult, so I need a partner who is fluent and well-connected in the Leipzig market and can own customer-facing work, B2B sales, partnerships, and relationship-building with HR and decision-makers. In short, a commercially-minded German-speaking co-founder who opens doors and closes deals, complementing my focus on running the kitchen, delivery, and platform.
