What are the requirements for patenting and when are other intellectual property rights the better choice?On October 6, 2026, the Patent Information Center Chemnitz, in cooperation with the C:HUB of TU Chemnitz, will provide practical knowledge on patent protection, copyright, and other rights for software and AI. Experts will show what to watch out for already in the development phase and how an appropriate intellectual property rights strategy – from the idea through filing to exploitation – can be developed.Expert lectures, practical examples, and workshops on Open Source, software and AI contracts, software patents, and funding opportunities provide concrete orientation.
