SilverCompanion AI – Voice controlled assistive technology for senior living.

Current smart home assistants are often built around complex big tech ecosystems, creating high entry barriers and privacy concerns for older generations. Our solution solves this problem by introducing a plug and play, voice controlled AI companion created exclusively for seniors.

Connected easily to any television, the system allows users to navigate the digital world naturally. It assists with vital everyday tasks like online shopping, bank transfers, and calendar management, while also providing social features like video chatting and community gaming to prevent isolation.

The technical breakthrough of our prototype is its completely decentralized approach. By utilizing a local AI, the system processes everything directly on the device itself. This guarantees maximum security and strict GDPR compliance without relying on remote cloud networks. The initial prototype is fully operational and ready for pilot testing within the Saxon innovation network.

Presentation of the founding project

Who are you? Background, motivation, relevant experience? What role, if any, do the team members have?

With a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, I am a hands on builder driven by social impact. I founded this project to close the technology gap for seniors, giving them independent access to the digital world. After my studies, I self taught the necessary AI skills to successfully develop our first functional, locally running prototype. As a solo founder, I currently drive all aspects of the project, but my goal within the wisawi network is to find a business oriented partner to take t

Which industry(s) does the business idea most closely fit into?
What have you achieved so far (prototype, users, revenue)?

We have successfully built a fully functional prototype with a local AI architecture. The development was guided by early design thinking interviews, and we are currently gathering initial feedback to prepare for pilot testing.

Support sought

What skills are you lacking? What do you expect from the person? What role should they take on?

I am looking for a co founder to join my funded startup. A regional stipend is available, offering full time funding of 2500 to 3000 Euros per month for up to three team members. My main priority is finding a partner for outreach, networking, and business development who can help find pilot users and build connections. A second tech mind is also welcome. If you want to drive a healthtech venture full time, let's connect.

(Multiple selection possible)
When should the collaboration ideally begin?
Where the collaboration should take place.
If the position is not entirely remote where will the team meet to work?
